About Parkview Homes

Parkview Homes has designed and built homes in Peterborough and the Kawarthas since 1985, developing new communities and rental apartments rather than renovating existing houses. Maplewood Homes is part of the same group of companies. It has worked with the Tarion New Home Warranty Program since its inception, and its new homes carry the Tarion warranty. Customers get a Tarion MyHome login and seasonal maintenance checklists. 8 Google reviewers give it an average of 4.4 out of 5, with 6 at the top mark.

Disclaimer

Company details here come from public business information and are for reference only. We do not check licences, registrations, insurance or WSIB coverage, and a listing is not a recommendation. Ontario has no provincial licence for renovating existing homes; the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) licenses builders and sellers of new homes, and some cities, such as Toronto and Mississauga, license renovators themselves. Electrical work done for pay needs a contractor licensed through the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), and gas work needs a TSSA-registered contractor. Before hiring, check with those bodies and your municipality, ask for a WSIB clearance, and put the agreement in writing.
